Tidbit:
The song "Red Planet" composed in celebration of the missions to Mars from the British Space Agency "Beagle" Lander and NASA's Twin Rover's. The song was completed on the eve of closest appoach between the planets Earth and Mars in 2003. It has been discovered Mars flowed with enough water to habitat life.

The music of A Distant Signal may bear several different labels depending on the listener's interpretation including electronic music, progressive, avant-garde, symphonic, new age, ambient, electronica or space rock.

The core of the music is based around traditional or "classic electronic music" with a definite lean towards heavy melodies, chord progressions, arpeggio sequences and rhythms.
